The Flag of Amerada

"The leaf, stars, stripes, and bars"
The flag of Amerada was adopted in 2001 and contains features seen in the flag of the United States of America, and in Canada. Notice there are 13 stars, 13 stripes, and 13points on the maple leaf. This is to symbolize the 13 colonies Amerada will have when unity is complete. The 13 white stars on the field of blue in the canton of the flag are arrange in the general shape of Amerada (modifications are soon to come) The colours represent freedom (blue), peace (white), and unity (red).

Coat of Arms

"the star-Amerada" features a half star-half maple leaf as its main focal point. This shape is known as the star-Amerada. It is purple, the colour you get when you mix red (for Canada) and blue (for the United States). A blue outline is visible on the star side, and a red outline can be seen on the maple leaf side. Below the star-Amerada, a banner reads "Reublica ode Amerada" which is the new Ameradian language for, Republic of Amerada.

The National Anthem

The National Anthem is also known as the Star-Amerada, named after the famous Ameradian shape. It was written by then the leader of the DLPA, Earl Washburn. It was an entry for a contest, which was picked as winner. The anthem uses lines from the Canadian and American national anthems, that have been recently touched up so that they make sense and apply to Amerada, and an extra line was added to the end. So far music is still needed for the words, and if you think you have a good piece for it, please email the president.

National Emblem

The flying pig bunny, a species discovered on Kiril's Island near the nuclear testing ranges.
It's believed to have formed by radiation, but this theory is not true. The scientific name is Sylvilagus Sus Aviatius. DISCLAIMER: Please credit the pic to the manga artists CLAMP.

National Animal
(unofficial) the domestic dog, preferably a Yellow Labrador Retriever, or Golden Retriever.

Note: the picture is not the 'first' dog, Amber, you may see a picture of her somewhere on the site within a year. This is just a cute puppy I found on the internet.
